An epic tale of self-discovery, friendship and adventure
for 9-15 year olds

For lovers of animals, adventure seekers, fans of Philip Pullman, and those who might be a little too old to come back to Narnia
Tales of the Aurora, book 1
Silla
On the fringes of a cold, ice-covered world, in the plains of a land known as Tlate-Hiin, animals and humans ready themselves for this year’s Night of the Aurora. Among them is Ari, an 11-year-old boy, with his mom, sister and a friendly family of white bears.
But this joyful occasion, where even Wolves and Black Birds come together to watch the Aurora (may it glow forever), soon turns tragic. The village shaman and Aurora Diviner, Sii, brings the sad news to the community: the Aurora is fading, and it is calling for someone to come and save her.

It is Ari, who hears his name in Aurora’s golden-green glow. He sets out on the dangerous expedition, against the wishes of his mom who’s already lost her husband (Ari’s father). A journey of impossible adventures follows, where danger lurks everywhere, old myths reveal themselves to be true, and Ari, aided by friends he makes on the way (a snow cow, a strange man travelling with white hares and a pack of wolves), discovers his own true origins and is faced with a choice that could heal himself, the Aurora and the world.

Kutik can't sing. That's why she left her home village, where a beautiful voice was the only way for a girl to earn respect, and followed Ari all the way to Tlate Hiin.
Now strange white batbirds fly in from over the sea and invade the land. Their bites bring Coma, a disease that could be fatal, and Kutik, the only capable survivor, is forced to set out on a journey to seek a cure.

Little does she know that her mission (onto which she embarks with an unlikely partner, a snow leopard she names Pante) will take her all the way beyond the sea, to the source of all creation. She alone can procure the Pearl, from which the Aurora derives its power—and thanks to which all can be cured.
But before she gets there, she must outwit a sect of rogue Diviners, whose sin lies in their unshakable certainty that they alone know the will of the Aurora. For whoever believes they have the Truth, is the truest danger.
"The Guardian of the Pearl" is a tale of female friendship, a praise of humility, and an adventure that will bring Kutik back her song—and take your breath away.

The Little Princess
What if the Little Prince were a girl?
What if the pilot she encountered was Amelia Earhart? And what if she didn’t return to her flower, but instead decided to explore the Earth?

The Little Princess is openly in dialog with the classic book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It asks its predecessor: should we always accept the box, and imagine that we got the perfect gift? Should we overlook abuse in the name of love? Are we forever responsible for what we tame?

But it’s first and foremost a story in its own right. On her journey through the universe, the Little Princess encounters a number of female characters who struggle with demons such as low self-esteem, denial or the need to please. And when she comes to Earth, she might be ready to become her own person – but not without the help of Amelia, whose plane crashed on a the very same tropical island where the Little Princess lands.
The Little Princess has been an instant bestseller, reaching the #1 spot in its category in Poland and two additional printing runs ordered, both within a week of launch.
The Little Princess was written by the author in both English and Polish, and the full original English text is available. If you wish to publish the book, go here to contact the author.
So far it has been translated to Czech and Ukrainian.
